“Ele deu muitas chances a George.

"George Michael and his long-term lover Kenny Goss have broken up – and pals fear the singer is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Long-suffering Kenny finally walked out on George after 13 years together.

The final straw came when George, 46, was arrested in the toilets on Hampstead Heath and charged with possessing drugs last year.

Furious Kenny, 50, walked out at Christmas, but they kept their separation quiet as George begged him for another chance.

But despite remaining business partners in their art gallery in Dallas, Kenny decided enough was enough and told him they were history.

Devastated George then turned into “a hermit” in his North London mansion and sacked his loyal manager Andy Stephens.

One pal said: “Kenny had given George many chances. But after the Hampstead Heath incident he said he couldn’t take any more. Everyone knew George wasn’t just in there to do drugs – the place is well known as a place to pick up men.

“Despite George saying they had an open relationship, Kenny never agreed with George’s urges to go out cruising for other men, or with his excessive use of cannabis. He is embarrassed by what George had put him through.

“They had been due to marry on their 10th anniversary back in 2006, but Kenny told him it was off unless he changed his ways. But it seems George just couldn’t.”

When Kenny walked out, George postponed all his work commitments, including the release of a DVD for his 25 Live Tour.

He refused to leave his house  and became addicted to computer games. Then he shocked manager Andy by duetting with Beyonce at the O2 Arena in June without warning.

His irrational behaviour has become a cause of concern for his pals.

One said: “When Kenny left him, George wasn’t in the right frame of mind for anything. He seemed to become really depressed and no one could talk him out of it. He had promised to release a Live In London DVD of the tour but he couldn’t get it together to even look at clips of himself. Only now is he starting to get his head around it and is releasing it on December 7 – almost a year later.

“George would get up at 2pm, have a couple of spliffs, and play computer games until 7am, then do it all again the next day.

“His manager Andy couldn’t get through to him. And then he was absolutely furious when he found out he had driven himself to the O2 and got on stage with Beyonce.

“He tried to confront the star about it but George sacked him.

“George also has all these ideas about going back on the road – but no one knows if his state of mind will take it. The split has hit him hard.”"

O blogue da Fundação Goss-Michael

"The Goss-Michael Foundation debuted a blog this morning... they’ve created to house their current show, which features shadows created by light cast dramatically onto “rubbish” and “rusted” metal objects. It’s beautiful.

D Home shot Kenny Goss’ and George Michael’s apartment two years ago. Boy did we get lots of letters. Not because Michael is a pop star. But because we showed a gay couple kissing!"

"While George Michael waits for Banksy to tag his English mansion, his partner Kenny Goss holds up the Texas end of the art fortune.

"Most people initially freak a little bit about Sebastian, then they stare and stare at it and they say, 'That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," said Kenny Goss about Damien Hirst's "Saint Sebastian, Exquisite Pain" (above) which Goss and his partner George Michael purchased last summer and which is now on display in Dallas at a Hirst-curated show at the couple's gallery.

Goss and Michael are also giving back to the community: "The foundation will be awarding two $5,000 scholarships to students at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, one in Michael's name for music and one in Goss' name for art. There are also two more $5,000 scholarships offered, one for Dallas-Fort Worth area students, the other for students statewide."

Said Goss: "We want to expose the Dallas art community to work that they've quite potentially never seen if they weren't able to travel, these works that in some ways may be a little controversial for one thing, a little strong. But let's face it, art a lot of times is about sex, love, death, loss.""

"A bit of Britain has arrived in Texas, thanks to English pop star George Michael and his Texan partner Kenny Goss. The couple are displaying their collection of edgy, contemporary British art at their sleek gallery in Dallas' hip uptown area - just north of the skyscrapers that define the city's distinctive skyline. "We want to expose the Dallas art community to work that they've quite potentially never seen if they weren't able to travel, these works that in some ways may be a little controversial for one thing, a little strong," Goss said. "But let's face it, art a lot of times is about sex, love, death, loss."

The Goss-Michael Foundation's gallery is showcasing works by Damien Hirst, including his Saint Sebastian, Exquisite Pain - a black calf encased in a formaldehyde solution, its body pierced with arrows. "Most people initially freak a little bit about Sebastian, then they stare and stare at it and they say, 'That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen'," Goss said.

The show, curated by Hirst, also features Bitterness, which at first looks like a textured canvas and then reveals itself to be composed of dead flies in resin. Another piece shows a dove caught in flight in a formaldehyde solution. The work of Hirst has brought everyone from art students to parents with their children. "People love it. The first month of Damien's show, there was a line out the door," Goss said. Goss and Michael, who have been together for about 12 years, split their time between homes in London and Dallas. "It works great for us," said Goss. "We live in Britain almost all the time. We have a house here. So we collect amazing art in Britain, bring it to Dallas and everybody gets to see it. It keeps us busy in both places."

Entrevista com Kenny Goss

"..."I didn't want to force George to live in a sleek, white cube where you could roller skate across the marble floors," Goss says. The pair compromised, and Goss has enjoyed the result more than he expected. "I love having a nice, cozy fire and a blanket, and being able to live comfortably amidst the art we have."

Even the couple's small sheep dog, Hug, has free run of the house. Goss says Hug has "no interest" in chewing on the art (though, given the chance, the couple's two yellow labs back in England might be inclined to "bury something in the garden.")..."
